The Communist Party of India New Delhi, August 11, 2023 Press Release Stop Communalisation of Society in Haryana The National Secretariat of the Communist Party of India issued the following statement today (on August 11, 2023): The National Secretariat of Communist Party of India expresses concern at the report that many Gram panchayats in Haryana have passed resolutions banning Muslim shopkeepers and vendors from doing their business. This amount to social boycott and is provocation for communalization of the society. The Party demands that strict action to taken on these indulging in such anti-constitutional activities and expects government of Haryana to extend all support and protection to minorities in this tense situation.
