Acharya Pramod Krishnan of Moradabad has alleged that RSS leader Indresh Kumar has threatened him of dire consequences if he pursues statements against alleged involvement of RSS in right wing terror cases.

Krishnan has filed a complaint with the UP police based on which an FIR has been registered for criminal intimidation. The police said the case was registered on February 6.

In his complaint, Krishnan, who has been accorded security by the Home Ministry, alleged, “When I was attending the inauguration of a TV channel in sector 58, RSS senior leader Indreshji stopped me and told me angrily that I have been making statements at the behest of (Congress leader) Digvijaya Singh against them.”

“He alleged I am conspiring against them (RSS) and has been making statement that RSS was behind Samjhauta train and Ajmer Sharif blasts.” Krishnan alleged that Indresh told him once his government comes to power in next three months “you will be nowhere and no one will be able to save you.”

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested several right wing suspects for the Samjhauta blasts and Ajmer bombings and they are facing trial.

The CBI, which initially probed the Mecca Masjid blast, had arrested Swami Aseemanand and had questioned Indresh Kumar, who allegedly financed the blasts. His role was not established.

It was alleged that RSS pracharak Sunil Joshi was his conduit. Joshi was found murdered in December 2007. The case was transferred to the NIA, which failed to establish the role of Indresh and has not even questioned him.
