VNSGU gets new pro VC

SURAT: Name of Dakshesh Thaker has been announced by the education department on Friday as the new pro vice chancellor of Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU). The post was vacant since last three years. Current vice chancellor B A Prajapati was last to be appointed as PVC and alter promoted to VC.
Thaker has close ties with RSS and is currently principal of Modasa Arts and Commerce College. Sources in the education fraternity inform that Thakar got the seat of PVC due to his close ties with RSS leaders in the state.
