Subject: 'Convention Against Regional Chauvinism' on 22nd Nov at Vasai

In this convention we are trying to assemble eminent Marathi writers/artists/intellectuals living in and around Mumbai who have a secular and universalist world view and are firmly opposed to the politics of regional chauvinism.
Our motivation to organise this session is explained briefly in the Marathi appeal from our State Secretary Shailendra Kamble which is attached as a pdf file to this e-mail. Please go through the document which is very short.
Please circulate the message of this convention in our city's progressive circles and impress upon progressive Marathi writers/academicians/journalists to participate.
