Upcoming event: Sharing of Experience and Interactive Session by Aamra Ek Sachetan Prayas (2 January 2016, Kolkata)

Sharing Experience and Interactive Session-
Aamra Ek Sachetan Prayas (a Kolkata based study group on Conflict and coexistence) is going to share their experience and gather proposition on the subject they surveyed. As a part of our study on conflict and coexistence Amra visited different areas. In the last six months Aamra team toured some fairs, utsavs and documented few areas of communal tension and riot. Assemblage of reports, audio-visual times and unpublished documents we collected and preserved. Some of these will be published and released as Documentary film in accordance with the scheduled line up. Here are the details of Sharing Session-
Area we studied-
1. Utsav: Bera Bhasan, Lalbag, Murshidabad, West Bengal
2. Fair: Lalon Mela, Kusthia, Bangladesh
3. Communal Tension: Samudragarh, Burdwan, West Bengal
4. Communal Riot: Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh
