Jamia
Collective is a recently initiated platform of artists, intellectuals
and activists to promote diversity, pluralism and constitutional values
and it actively engages with citizens of the Jamia area.
This initiative aims at bridging the gap between thinkers working in
various areas such as media, culture, heritage, law, science, arts,
human rights, gender equality, films, music, etc. The syncretic culture
in any democratic society is created on the bedrock of negotiation
between different domains of human activity, intellectual distillation
and the thought processes prevalent among common citizens. The effort
of Jamia collective is to enhance and crystallize this social contract. Jamia Collective will organise Guftgu- a discussion forum every alternate Saturday from 11am to 1pm at 267A Jamia Nagar. Near Tikona Park, Near Faculty of Education, Jamia, Okhla, New Delhi- 110025
