Dear Editor,

Over three hundred artists, as a part of the artist community of India, have signed a statement expressing concern over the alarming rise of intolerance in the country. The statement will be issued to the Press on Tuesday, 27 October, 2015 at 3.30 p.m. at a press conference to be held at SAHMAT office, 29, Feroz Shah Road, New Delhi. Messages from senior artists K.G.Subramanyan and Krishen Khanna will also be read.

The conference will be addressed by Vivan Sundaram, Sharmila Samant, Anita Dube, Ram Rahman, Inder Salim, Probir Gupta among others.

Please assign a photographer/ TV Crew/ Reporter to cover the conference.
