science? That rape-accused, self-styled godman Asaram Bapu is a “great
saint”.
On page 40 of the book Naya Ujala, the rape-accused godman is featured
with Guru Nanak, Swami Vivekananda, Mother Teresa, Ramakrishna
Paramhansa and Maharishi Dayanand. The book published by Delhi-based
Gurukul Prakashan, claims to be based on NCERT’s Continuous and
Comprehensive Evaluation guidelines.
However, Jodhpur District Education Officer said he did not have any
information on the matter. “There is no such information that we have.
How can we act if there is no information?” District Education Officer
(elementary education) Prabhu Lal Panwar told The Indian Express.
