Crying love jihad, Hindutva activists lay siege to Bhopal police station after girl goes missing

BHOPAL: Members of a radical Hindu outfit on Friday, laid siege to a police station in the heart of Bhopal after a minor Dalit girl was allegedly abducted by a man from a minority community two days ago.

Calling it 'love jihad', over 100 right-wing activists gheraoed the MP Nagar police station and delivered a 48-hour ultimatum to police to track the girl or face reprisal. Bajrang Dal members threatened to bring the city to a halt and lock down all police stations in the state capital if the girl was not rescued.
