India: Police complaint against top BJP leader Subramanian Swamy for “inciting religious hatred”

Bangalore: The Bangalore Police has registered an FIR against BJP leader Subramanian Swamy for “inciting religious hatred”, through his speeches and social media posts between different communities in the country.

In a complaint filed in the JP Nagar police station, the complainants have alleged that Mr. Swamy uses, “blatant lies to deliberately instigate communal hatred between communities,” and has urged the police to take stringent action against him. [. . .]
