Huge and significant protest organised by DYFI and other secular organisations including Communalism Combat to protest the brutal murder of young Mohsin by fascist communal forces in Pune yesterday. Dhananjay Desai one of the accused has been booked for several cases before but never prosecuted.
Prompt prosecution including conviction, due and fair compensation and a close monitoring and control over religio fascist organisations were the collective demand put forward by all speakers.
CPI(M) dist secretary Mahendra Singh, DYFI leaders Preethi Shekhar,Mohan Jadhav and Ashok Pawar apart from activists Javed Anand, Irfan Engineer spoke.

Mohsin Shaikh, 29, was returning home late on Monday evening after performing Namaz when protesters attacked him in Hadapsar area on the outskirts of Pune.
Shaikh, an IT graduate who was accompanied by his brother, succumbed to his injuries early on Tuesday, sparking tension in the area.
Those injured in the incident are Izaz Yusuf Bagwan, 25, and Ameen Shaikh, 25.
