On the first anniversary of Dr. Asghar Ali Engineer’s demise, the Centre for Study of Society and Secularism and Dr. Asghar Ali Memorial Committee invites you to “Meaning, Metaphor and Martyrdom in Colonial India”, a lecture by Prof. Mushirul Hasan, chaired by Vinod Mehta along with the release of the book “Tribute to Dr.Asghar Ali Engineer: Striving for Peace and Harmony” .The event shall be held on May 14, 2014 at Seminar Hall 1,2&3 (Clubbed), India International Centre, 40 Max Mueller Marg, New Delhi.
