Shocked at the attitude of the UP govt towards the victims of Muzaffarnagar communal Carnage.

No ration has been sent to Jola (4500), Jogia Kheda ( 700 people), Loi ( approx 4000) , Malakpur (1200 familes)- - Kandala (2000)- for over 15 days. Same stories are coming in from all sides. Extreme pressure is being built on camp organisers and victims to close down camps. There are efforts to either threaten those who have filed cases or lure them with money. False cases are being slapped on the community leaders who are coming forward to help the victims. In the repetition of the Gujarat Modi model there are efforts to buy off some of the vulnerable victims and make them sign affidavites that the community leaders asked them to file cases. Also heard that one lakh is the going rate for removal of each name from the FIR.
