Anti V-Day demonstrations in Jammu

Jammu, Feb 13 (PTI) The Bajrang Dal, a hardline Hindu outfit, today burnt Valentine cards and held demonstrations in the city asking youths not to celebrate the V-Day terming it as a manifestation of western culture. Over 100 Bajrang Dal activists, chanting slogans, held protests in the city and burnt Valentine cards. Bajrang Dal leader Ankur asked the youths in Jammu and Kashmir not to celebrate the V-Day which, he said, was a manifestation of western culture. Dal activists would keep a strict watch on restaurants, hotels, parks, theatres and shops tomorrow and those found indulging in vulgar behaviour would not be spared, the Bajrang Dal leader said.
