SUB: REQUEST TO ENSURE PEACE AND HARMONY DURING VHP's CONFERENCE FROM 5TH TO 7TH NOVEMBER AT PIRANA (NEAR AHMEDABAD) IMAM SHAH DARGAH

We wish you A Happy New year.
You might be quite aware of the fact that there is a Dargah of Imam Shah at Pirana, near to Ahmedabad, a place of faith for both Hindus as well as Muslims. Vishwa Hindu Parishad (V.H.P.) has organised a "Dharma Prasar Akhil Bhartiya Karyakarta Sammelan" at this place from 5th November to 7th November. More than 2.500 delegates from all parts of country are going to participate in this event.
This conference organized by VHP has scared the minority community and they have express their concern to the Government.
It cannot be ruled out that the conference may trigger communal hatred and jeopardise the communal peace and Rule of Law in the state
Under this circumstances we request you to take immediate measures to ensure that Communal Harmony, Peace and Rule of Law is maintained.
We have gathered the details from the daily newspapers, of Ahmedabad from 1st November to 4th November which can be referred for the authenticity for our above apprehension
