A brief Update on The National Convention on Communal Harmony Held in Ayoddhya on 30-31 Jan 2009.
Organised by: Asha parivar, Ayodhya Ki Awaz , NAPM and others.
Participants: over 100 people from 15 states including Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujrat, Maharashtra, Chattisgarh, Kerala,
Tamilnadu, Delhi, Haryana, Orissa,. Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Jammu and Kashmir participated in the programme. The meeting had a balance representation of people from various religions and communities.
A good deal of discussion took place on of the challenges being faced by people due to the increasing violence and human right violation due to communal riots, state terrorism and terrorist attacks. Statewise situation analysis in this regard was also made both in terms of challenges faced as well as the syncretic culture being preserved by the people from various states.
Various proposals to take actions at state and national level were finalized in the open house and during the small group discussion.
Following are the Action programmes has been finalized
The Action Plan:
1 SADBHAWANA ABHIYAN in Gujarat: First meeting in this regard would be held on Feb 25th 2009,

2. FORMATION OF PEOPLE UNITY CENTRE AT 4 PLACES
These centres will have evening tuition classes, Library and communal harmony Prabhat Pheri every Month in the different areas nearby.

3. SADBHAWANA SHIVIRS : There will be two Sadbhawana Shivirs.
i. at Ajmer Rajasthan
organizing team will consist of Saroj Khan (Raj) , MH Gandhi ji (Guj), Arvind Murti (UP)
ii. . In Jammu and Kashmir: Faizal and Dr Raja Muzaffar will take up the organizing responsibility. This will be conducted in the month of July.
4. SADHBHWANA SAMMELAN in khera dist. Gujarat on 15th may at Nasair ,
Heeera Lal Makwna and Com. MH Gandhi and Faisal have taken responsibility to organise this program.
5. MEETING ON POLITICS OF COOMUNALISM AND TERRORISM
in Banars, Mau and Gorkahpur Nandlal Master, Arvind Murti and Keshav bairagi will take up the organizing responsibility respectively. .
6. PAECE DAILOUGE IN JAMMAU AND KASHMIR
.Dr Raja Muzzafar , Shabull Bahtt , Sajjad and Faisal will organize the programme.
7. CHUNARI FESTIVAL :
A fine blend of sycretic culture between Hindus and Muslims through the ages dipicted by the textile and craft will be celebrated as Chunari craft festival in Jaipur in February end.
8--PADYATRA FROM FROM MUMBAI TO KARACHAI 21 between October to December 2009. will be organized and the following 21 member committee will take responsibility of organizing the same.
