CPM general secretary Sitaram Yechury greets activist Teesta Setalvad at a rally at Mumbai’s Azad Maidan on Saturday. Yechury labelled the Prime Minister “Maunendra Modi” for his silence on corruption and blamed the government for the logjam in Parliament. Teesta, a co-petitioner in a 2002 riot case against Modi and others who is now facing a CBI probe into foreign funds received by her NGO, shared the dais with CPM leaders.
